The hype is probably justified.
What does exclusive mean now? The fragrance is really nice, warm, wintery, sweet, delicious, simply great. Exactly what you are used to from Althair. Basically, they slightly shifted the ingredients within the notes and added a dash of amaretto. Does it fit well? Definitely. Is it exclusive now? I don't know. Does that justify the remaining surcharge? I don't think so. As described, it is a top fragrance. For me, Althair is a touch more suitable for everyday wear, whereas the Exclusive, due to the amaretto, is more suited for going out. The classic Christmas market fits it best here. Sillage and longevity are above average, but completely identical for both fragrances. Personally, I doubt that the Exclusive can build up such a large fanbase as Althair.
