Âme du Cœur

This fragrance meets all the criteria that a signature perfume must have. It is versatile across weather and seasons (maybe not midsummer), not smelled on every corner, affordable, and smells lovely. You get a peppery-spicy opening with blood orange and incense. Naturally, it softens over time, and the pepper loses a bit of its punch. For me, it is 'only' a 7.5 because the blood orange note is not my favorite, especially among citrus notes. Still, I find it great.

A warming, woody scent with orange. In the beginning it smells really great and the combination of these fragrance notes is perfect. If the scent stayed like this, I would definitely get a full size! Unfortunately, the woody-spicy notes fade into the background after about 10 minutes and I mainly perceive the orange, which is also very nice, but not as special as the initial scent, which is a shame.

For me, the spiciness is very dominant and I miss a bit of softness. Rather masculine for me.
