The opening is extremely aggressive, smelling like burnt wood after a fire that catches in your throat. On a scent strip, it is an absolute disaster: an abominable smell of cough syrup that makes you nauseous. You really have to wait 5 minutes for this infernal scent to dissipate on the skin, evolving into a room fragrance reminiscent of an antique and decor shop at Christmas (candle, beeswax, dust...). It is very nice as a room fragrance, but hardly wearable.

The fragrance takes several attempts to reveal its true beauty – hidden amidst all that sticky, smoky birch tar. It might be a bit overwhelming at first, but those who give it time will discover a fascinating and unexpectedly beautiful side behind it.

Burnt wood, barbeque smoke only for pros. While lemon is listed in the opening but my nose can't find it anywhere. The drydown is less in your face and more wearable. Don't expect compliments with this one.
