This is a blast of Moroccan mint tea. Do I want to smell like mint tea? Well, no, but I sure enjoy the meditative experience of smelling it. Giuseppe really recreated the smell to perfection.

This is an interesting composition, not my favourite fig fragrance. To be fair I'm not usually a fig enjoyer, Monkeyflower and Dambrosia are only ones I actually love. It kind of feels juvenile, this is a stretch but my mind couldn't stop somewhat remembering the opening of 1 Million Parfum when I smelled this and I hate it. Maybe because of the green sweet combination, here it actually works.

Well... if you want to smell like cereals and amber, this is the perfume for you. I personally don't like it, the first line reflects that, the rating not so much I guess. This is just not for me, it's not disgusting or foul, it's simply not my style of fragrance but I see the artistry. My least favourite from the line though

An extremely pleasant fragrance that comes across as delicate and salty like a breeze and touched me very quickly. My only point of criticism is the longevity, otherwise I would have already bought the full size. It is unobtrusive, unisex, creates a sense of security, but blows past like a gust of wind and is then gone again. Sandalwood and white musk make it extremely soft and caressing, but the sea is not a summery beach, but rather characterized by cliffs and sea spray.

Obviously, I struggle with sweet fruits, but I wanted to give this one a chance anyway - in vain. For me, it turned into an unpleasant deodorant-spray sweetness far too quickly and is therefore, unfortunately, not for my nose.

One of the best fragrances from Initio, beats Musk Therapy in the drydown.

Although this fragrance impressed me at the very first spray, it only gradually developed into a favorite. Initially, it shows a fresh, minty start, fortunately without toothpaste vibes. This lingers delicately and persistently, followed by a calm, papery freshness that lasts until the next day - without being overwhelming initially. While masculine at first impression, this perfume had a special appeal on women for me; I layered it several times with sweeter, one-dimensional scents and thereby achieved a much more powerful statement. Furthermore, I must emphasize that it is also a very good choice for really hot days.

At first it might take some getting used to, but then it is all the more convincing. A good, if not even better, alternative to Xerjoff Opera.

Not to be compared with Accento, but rather with Erba Pura, only much more pleasant than the latter. In the long run, it became too floral/fruity for me, which is why I stuck with the sample.

Midas Touch opens directly with a fresh citrus and a slightly metallic-resinous note. The sweet, delicate flowers are already appearing. As it progresses, the floral notes further balance out with the warm resins. These resins give the fragrance a rough, medicinal balsamic quality that creates a strong contrast to the floral opulence. A clean, soft leather blends in and provides warmth, but does not drift into the animalic. In the base, patchouli and its distinct earthy notes provide a pleasant darkness and coziness. The lush blooms remain until the end, but never become too sweet or powdery. With good longevity and sillage, Midas Touch is an excellently constructed floral fragrance that shows character through its rough edges and never seems too pleasing.
