Rose Atlantic

I am really not a rose perfume person, but Rose Atlantic does a lot of things right. Salty sea air, rose, green and citrus notes – fresh, unsweet and not at all "granny-like". In fact, it smells to me almost exactly like roses growing somewhere on the coast. It is light, unobtrusive and wraps around you more like a fresh sea breeze. Actually a really nice spring and summer fragrance. Actually. Because somewhere in between, I unfortunately keep getting a slight bad breath accord. As specific as it is irritating. Without it, my rating would be significantly higher.

I ordered a sample of this to compare with Rose saltifolia from Maison Crivelli, as they should be fairly similar in character and I really loved that one. On paper I should really like this, on my skin it kind of turns somehow sour and unpleasantly chemical smelling.

A great, gentle rose scent that is truly special! It feels as if I were standing on a cliff next to wild roses and felt the tingling of the sea spray on my skin. It has become one of my new favorite perfumes in a short time and gives me a comforting feeling. It is a gentle perfume, which I love, and I use it very often, especially in gray weather.
