I wasn't convinced upon the first sniff on paper, but I definitely wanted to test it on my skin, since Schwarzlose has always impressed me so far - unfortunately not with this one. I don't smell any rose at all; almost immediately, a very bitter, medicinal scent kicks in - and although I'm generally not averse to that, it's actually almost unbearable. I had to layer it very quickly with a lovely, sweet perfume so it wouldn't overwhelm me. It also remains sharp and pungent for a long time and is unfortunately not my cup of tea at all.

Overpowering woody scent
The perfume starts with a rose note on me, which however fades very quickly, and then I smell disgusting woody notes. I had to wash it off immediately.
