Athénaïs

Reminds me a bit of Fleur Narcotique, but not as shrill and loud (neither trait is negative, one might actually want that). Relatively fruity at first, then somewhat more floral, followed by a slow and quiet drydown. On my skin, the fragrance could not develop as well as on clothing. After floral/fruity it evaporated... But the development on textiles is indeed exciting. All in all, a very nice scent, though not extraordinary or unique.

A wisp of nothing! Upon spraying, subtle sparkling-floral and slightly vanilla notes that disappear in a flash. Average summer fruity floral at a designer level.

I like it a lot: sunny, elegant, and high quality. To me, however, Athénaïs feels more like exclusive luxury than true niche – beautiful, but a bit too pleasing and not very experimental.
