Details on Oman Luxury Dejan

Dejan by Oman Luxury is a luxurious fragrance inspired by Oman's iconic Jabal Akhdar roses, created by master perfumer Dominique Ropion. Released in 2020, this sophisticated composition showcases the perfect marriage of smoky rose essence with natural exotic oud, musk, and amber, creating a sensation of grandeur and uniqueness.

How does Oman Luxury Dejan smell?

The fragrance opens with a dominant cypriol note creating a woody-resinous and leathery character with slight mentholated undertones. The heart reveals an overwhelming rose water accord, complemented by oud contributing earthy and green facets. The base develops into a pleasant blend of sweetness, labdanum, dried fruits, animalic notes, musk, bourbon vanilla, and amber, finally revealing a beautiful incense note.

Confirmation of synthetics

Oman Luxury is definitely not a brand for me. After testing a few of their fragrances I can now confirm with Dejan what I thought, everything smells synthetic. Dejan is not an exception. Nor the tacky brand name, pricing, or their fragrances connect with me at any level. Dominique Ropion recycles his own Rose-Oud formula here. Nothing new under the sun, smells like many other in that category.
