At first, heavily silky like my grandmother's bathroom. Then it becomes more citrusy, but unspectacular. After some time, it turns green, herbal, and tart, and very pleasant for me. Still, unfortunately, nothing special.

Finally, not an aquatic or citrus scent, and yet a beautiful fragrance for summer! It smells like vacation, the sea, fresh herbs, and aniseed—simply quite different from all the other 'freshies'. And it lasts an extremely long time! The only drawback for me: unfortunately, it becomes increasingly masculine over time, making it not really wearable for me. I definitely wouldn't call it unisex, maybe just the opening. But on a man, it's a real hit in summer!

Quite honestly: Nishane Ege is exactly what you want from a real summer scent without drifting into that typical sweet-synthetic shower gel territory. The fragrance captures that cool, salty sea breeze in combination with extremely authentic, crisp yuzu and herbal notes (especially that distinctive violet leaf) incredibly well. It has this clean, refreshing character but feels mature and premium due to the slightly peppery spice and the woody foundation. The best part is the performance: while most aquatics vanish after two hours, Ege delivers really strong longevity and sillage that stays extremely refreshing throughout the summer. Sure, it's very green and has a distinctive edge you have to like – but anyone looking for a real, long-lasting summer freshie that doesn't smell like everyone else will be absolutely rewarded.
