Baraonda is liquid warmth in perfume form. Right from the first spray, it feels like lifting a heavy glass of aged whiskey in a dark mahogany room – golden, dense, almost hypnotic. The fragrance is boozy, but not clumsily alcoholic. This rum/whiskey impression blends with a warm, slightly caramelized sweetness and woody facets that appear incredibly well-rounded. Nothing stands out – everything is perfectly balanced. What I love about Baraonda: it is intense but not chaotic. Despite the opulent warmth, it remains elegant. The sweetness is creamy rather than sticky, the woody notes dry rather than dusty. It feels like a high-quality, aged accord – almost minimalistically composed, but maximal in its effect. Performance? Strong. One or two sprays are completely sufficient. It projects confidently, but rather draws people closer instead of dominating the room.
