Rien

I own Rien Incense Intense and always expected this to be simply a lighter version. The missing accords from the flanker here, create a fragance that while reminisces Incense Intense provide a quite different experience. Turns out to be more genderless and crosses that difficult edge of clean/dirty/aldheydic. Quite pungent as well.

An interesting scent that I have never perceived like this before. Slight metallic sweetness meets leather and frankincense. In the drydown, more pleasant than after the first minutes of wearing. A niche unisex fragrance that you rarely smell like this. You have to like it. I find it quite good. Definitely unisex.

Unfortunately, I don't really warm up to this brand. The ingredients always read as exciting and good, but in the end, I always smell a "dirty" signature that I find repulsive. It starts off spicy here, but becomes rather unpleasant over time. Although I rarely have a problem with patchouli, it feels rather bothersome here. Simply not my thing.
