Intense, velvety red rose
Somehow hard to describe. The rose is very, very strong. But it's not a fresh, dewey rose on a bush, but dried rose petals from the most fragrant, beautiful, velvety red rose. Almost potpourri-like, sweet, jammy but not sugary, almost flat and steady but in a good way, a nice hint of pepper, ginger and citrus but not too much and you only get it from a distance. Everything that is not rose just amplifies the rose-ness of this fragrance. Definitely very interesting. It's kinda goth but doesn't go all the way dark, it reminds me of perfume my aunties used to wear in the 90s but it doesn't go full vintage. It projects like crazy. Sprayed just a bit on a testing strip and its been permeating the entire room for hours now. But it doesn't scream for attention. It's a quiet, confident, steady presence. I find it calming, even. Fans of darker, sensual rose scents will probably like this one a lot.
