Like a dry wooden workshop with paper and resin
Bowmakers feels very dry, woody and resinous to me, with something that reminds me slightly of paper, an old bookshop or a workshop full of wood and varnished instruments. The opening is fresh and spicy, then it becomes more earthy, woody and slightly smoky as it dries down. I find it pleasant and well made, and I like the atmosphere it creates, but it never became a major favourite for me. It smells good and has personality, but compared with some other fragrances I have tried, it does not pull me back strongly enough to become something I really want to wear often.
