Clive Christian 1872 for Men starts off pleasantly fresh, clean, and classically elegant. The citrus notes feel high-quality and stylish, almost like a well-groomed old-school gentleman's fragrance. Unfortunately, very little of it lasted on me. Despite using unscented body lotion and having well-prepared skin, the scent had practically vanished after 30 minutes. While others around me could still perceive it slightly, on my skin it felt like next to nothing. For the high price of a bottle, it is disappointingly weak in longevity and presence, even though I enjoy skin scents.
