Bois d'Ambrette

A wonderfully elegant, warm, and at the same time transparent fragrance. The ambrette gives it a soft, slightly musky sensuality, while the woody notes provide depth and character. Clean, creamy, and subtly sexy, without becoming banal or too sweet.

I have tested Bois d’Ambrette extensively on my skin. The fragrance initially starts very spicy and sharp, showing a distinct presence. After about 30 minutes, however, this impression changes completely: the scent evolves into an amazingly round, soft, and very harmonious composition. One can clearly notice the craftsmanship and the very unconventional, nutty-earthy signature of the ambrette seeds. Even though I personally found that Bois d’Ambrette is stylistically not my scent and I wouldn't want to wear it over a longer period, it is an exciting, high-quality creation that is definitely worth testing if you like this specific note.

A beautiful summer fragrance for those who are not looking for something sweet, fruity, or tropical... It is a quiet, calm ambrette scent, slightly creamy but rather dry, and the ginger comes through nicely... I have learned to love and enjoy it during hot temperatures.
