Ambre Papier

What a fragrance! Very niche and yet suitable for everyday wear... it starts out warm and orangey with a dry amber note in the background, but the slight fruity note then disappears and makes way for the amber... however, it is not a warm amber like in so many other fragrances, but a dry, powdery amber that actually slightly resembles paper, slightly creamy on the skin... very unusual, definitely a must-try!

The fragrance is spicy, slightly bitter, and somehow elegant. Slight Ganymede vibes, meaning a subtle medicinal note, possibly due to mandarin and saffron. Later, the sweet and creamy tonka bean takes over.

Creamy spicy warm start, citrus hints with a slightly clove-like pimento touch. Well-dosed saffron, goes well with pimento, flowery jasmine takes over. Tonka bean and vetiver, with a tea-like note, form the finish. Overall not overdosed and rather well-balanced. Nothing exciting, but a nice companion for the day.
