A Pastel Pink Morning
Chameleon Tropical Blooms Edition. Zoologist. A bathroom in a slightly retro, sensual house, with a huge window overlooking a garden. Morning routine, beautifully scented delicate creams, floral soap, shampoo. Soft white flowers, a little coconut, maybe magnolia, a touch of jasmine. There is something slightly tropical and beachy about it, but very light. The fruit is also very soft, nothing loud or overly juicy. Everything feels creamy, soapy, shampoo-like and pastel. If this fragrance had a colour, it would be the palest, softest pink - actually, the liquid in the bottle is almost exactly the right colour. Outside the window is not a jungle, but an orchard. Apple, pear, peach and apricot trees, impossibly with some of them in bloom while others are already covered in ripe fruit. Very ripe cherry plum, peaches, apricots. It’s almost as if cherry plum blossoms were mixed with a quick five-minute fruit jam. Such a lovely fragrance - delicate, feminine and very youthful.
