Oh Parfums de Marly, I really have a weakness for these fragrances. In the summer my favorite was Sedley, in the fall it will be Layton. At first spray, I was a bit put off because the perfume smells quite a bit like cough syrup. However, this subsides after a minute and I smell apple and is that coffee? Or have I looked at the picture too often? Eventually the freshness fades and the vanilla comes through; the drydown is very nice and warm. One of the most beautiful vanilla notes I have ever smelled.

A really good all-round fragrance, but a bit too spicy for me and somehow reminds me of an old acquaintance from the house of Dior.

A very nice apple and lavender scent, I have this fragrance as a 125 ml bottle and I must say it is great in autumn, at parties, and on dates.
