Terroni

Terroni is a very distinctive fragrance with a dark, earthy and smoky character. I found the opening quite intense, but I enjoyed it more as it dried down, when the smoke became more of a texture in the background rather than dominating the whole composition. There is something deep and almost volcanic about it that I find genuinely interesting. However, the warmer, slightly sweet and almost cocoa-like facets are less suited to my personal taste and eventually make it a little heavy for me. I appreciate the atmosphere and originality much more than I actually want to wear it.

Imagine smearing raspberry jam over a log of wood and then throwing it into a volcano. That's it, that's the scent. And I love it.

This time I formed my own associations first before reading the description. In fact, a volcano did not come to mind, but rather a huge Gothic church that smells of incense. The fragrance starts with a fresh, breezy note that fades after a few minutes and then transitions into this spicy, heavy scent of incense and whisky (which is a cool combination, by the way :D). I definitely like the fragrance!
