1A-33 is the first reinterpretation and one of the most successful fragrances from J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin. Already a bestseller in the 1950s, the composition remained popular for decades. The extraordinary fragrance formula combines the delightful linden blossom, magnolia, and jasmine, along with a fresh top note of mandarin and spicy red pepper. The name of the fragrance embodies the German capital, based on the former Berlin car license plate. 1A stood for Berlin, and the number 33 represented the company's location in Moabit.

Beautiful linden tree
Here, the fragrance starts with linden and mandarin at the same time. After 10 minutes, the mandarin recedes and the linden unfolds its power. Not too sweet and intrusive like with Tilia, but quiet yet present. Sillage and longevity are unbeatable. Very feminine and summery.
