Ile Bourbon

My first thought with Île Bourbon: Wow, I have never smelled anything like this before. I am still at the beginning with niche fragrances, but here I clearly perceive chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon. Added to that is this warm, boozy impression that reminds me of bourbon. To me, very masculine and extraordinary. Throughout the day, I also find it distinctly sweet. The longevity impresses me. It feels like it could be the longest-lasting of the fragrances I've tested so far, though I'm not completely sure yet. I sprayed again in the late afternoon. My image of it: bitter cold, crisp winter air, and an afternoon walk. In the evening, I stop by a dark, sophisticated cocktail bar. Heavy leather seats, candlelight, jazz, and blues. Lively, yet still calm and pleasant. A wonderful winter fragrance that I really enjoy smelling.

A lovely cozy winter scent, not too overloaded or intrusive, truly comfortable.

For me, Île Bourbon is love at first spray! I have had the scent on my skin for a good hour now and simply cannot stop sniffing my wrist. It radiates a wonderfully cozy, warm, and soft sweetness that makes it the ideal cozy scent for autumn and winter. Although boozy notes are not officially listed, I detect a wonderfully fine, liqueur-like nuance as it develops, blending harmoniously with the warm chocolate and vanilla facets. It is precisely this subtle twist that makes the fragrance incredibly exciting and refined, without ever being overloaded or obtrusive. An absolute feel-good fragrance that radiates pure comfort!
