Details on Etat Libre d’Orange Fat Electrician

A semi-modern vetiver that tells the story of a fallen beauty from Texas, now a Fat Electrician in New Jersey. His splendor consumed in service of others, his talent depleted in his sexual decline - this is the curse of beauty, it doesn't last. The fragrance captures this narrative through an innovative blend of materials that challenge traditional vetiver compositions.

How does Etat Libre d’Orange Fat Electrician smell?

A complex composition that opens with elemi resin and black pepper, leading to a heart dominated by vetiver and cedarwood. The base reveals a rich blend of myrrh, opoponax, and vanilla absolute, creating a unique nutty-creamy accord with subtle smoky undertones and an ethereal metallic tang.

Good, but somehow not really

The creamy vetiver note combined with the slightly sweet, resinous, and woody facets feels very special. However, the performance on my skin was rather disappointing. Although the fragrance itself smells really good, after a short time it became barely noticeable beyond a skin scent and had very little projection on me. As a result, I missed the presence that I would have expected from such an interesting composition.

Beautiful scent!

I first sprayed the perfume on the test strip and it smelled really good. I love the combination of gourmand and powdery notes! Unfortunately, the notes were hardly perceptible on my skin. That's a real shame, as I like the fragrance very much.
