mature, down-to-earth vanilla

When vanilla fragrances are not sticky-sweet, I'm thrilled! I experience this one as not sticky or sweet at all, but just as expected: rather tart, and the way I think of vanilla when baking. However, over time, my skin microbiome allows earthy, tart accents to come to the fore to my nose, which are a bit too tart for my liking.

Tart vanilla

Unsweetened vanilla with a patchouli-hay note. Comes across as bitter and tart. Unfortunately not for me.
