Jardins de Misfah Extrait

When I got it as a surprise scent and looked at the notes, I was genuinely worried that it would be just a sweet rose perfume. But Davana might become one of my favorite notes. It adds complexity to this scent. It’s sweet, but also a bit sour - I pick up crisp, juicy green grapes straight from wine; subtly spicy and soapy. The latter is the reason why it’s a 7 instead of a 9.

Normally, I am not a big fan of rose fragrances, but here the date takes center stage and the rose only emerges subtly. The sweetness and richness of the date are in the foreground here.

I generally don't like rose scents, but I do like this one, this sweet date honey. Dreamy! I'm thrilled. It is so beautiful. It distracts me. I constantly have to smell my wrist.
