Jardins de Misfah

Great date-honey fragrance. Slightly oriental touch. I only perceive rose subtly. Sweet scent without seeming sticky. Very good longevity and sillage. Also very wearable for a man.

A beautiful rose scent with date sweetness and pleasant spiciness. Lots of sweet dates and roses. Somehow it also has a hint of honey. Sensually elegant, warm. Such a beautiful fragrance, I had to buy it immediately. 10/10

With Jardins de Misfah, I thought of a sunny day in a beautiful garden. The searing heat makes the air shimmer around me. As I stroll through the garden, I spot the occasional small lizard searching for food. In fact, the opening was promising: it catapulted me directly to an oriental market; I perceived a mixture of spices, the hustle and bustle of people, and very faintly a rose. However, the rose note grew weaker and weaker; the gardens were closed. What remained for a long time was the association of a sugared licorice fish from a well-known brand. Not unpleasant at all, but unexpected. It smelled heavy, sweet, warm, and sticky – unfortunately, I couldn't identify the date as such. In the drydown, the licorice fish was no longer swimming through shallow waters but metamorphosed into a milk caramel candy. Not bad either. I was left somewhat perplexed – where were the date, almond, and saffron, and where had my initially perceived rose gone? Jardins de Misfah is definitely very gourmand, and please don't be put off by the licorice. After all, noses perceive scents differently. I deliberately saved looking at the scent pyramid for the drydown. Definitely worth a test for those with a sweet tooth (I don't want to be pinned down to the licorice fish). Those hoping for a rose garden will be left standing at the candy stall.
