Fruity-green opening with a synthetic finish
Narcotic Dream starts promisingly with a tangy-fruity opening of candied lemon (very candied, delicious), pineberry (or pineapple-strawberry, super interesting), and herbal basil, which I find very appealing. Unfortunately, the combination loses me as it develops, dropping into a pungent-synthetic and prickly drydown that becomes too obtrusive for my taste. Due to the green and fresh top note, I only find the fragrance suitable for spring and summer when looking for a very strong and present companion for outdoors.
