"A fragrance that takes its time"
For me, Blue Sapphire is not a fragrance that reveals its full beauty immediately after spraying. Right from the start, a complex blend of floral, spicy, woody, and fresh facets emerges. I can particularly perceive marigold, saffron, rose, and magnolia, while patchouli lends a certain depth to the whole composition. My first impression was definitely positive, but not yet truly convincing. The fragrance felt luxurious, elegant, and almost soapy, without completely captivating me right away. But Blue Sapphire needs time. As it is worn longer, the composition unfolds significantly more beautifully. The individual facets seem to come together better, the fragrance gains harmony, and reveals a depth that I had not properly noticed at the beginning. It is a sophisticated composition that should not necessarily be judged after the first few minutes. Whether it belongs among the truly great fragrances for me personally, I will leave open. But one thing I must grant it: the longer I wear it, the more I understand its appeal.
