I had hoped for a balanced unisex scent from Erba Pura – what I got was a sweet, almost aggressive fruit bomb. The initial explosion of synthetic-smelling mandarin, mango, and all sorts of "gummy candy" aromas truly overwhelms the senses. Instead of elegance or sophistication, a pervasive sweetness dominates here, leaving little room to breathe. Unisex? Not really. The fragrance develops very femininely – and in a blatant way that smells more like a teenage perfume than niche art. Men who lean towards classic unisex compositions like Molecule 01 or Philosykos are likely to be disappointed here. Erba Pura is more for women who can't decide whether they want to smell like a candy store or a tropical cocktail – and preferably both at once. The longevity is impressive, but unfortunately, that's precisely the problem: the scent clings to skin and clothes for hours without ever truly becoming more pleasant. Those who like heavy, sweet-fruity fragrances with high sillage might find what they're looking for here. For me, it was simply too much of everything – too sweet, too intrusive, too unbalanced. A shame about the beautiful packaging. The content, unfortunately, seems more loud than luxurious.
