Silver Musk

Where other Gualtieri creations tend to be loud and often peculiar, Silver Musk convinces in a quiet, delicate, and unobtrusively elegant way. For me, one of the best. Lasts long with medium projection. A versatile, feel-good fragrance suitable for many occasions.

Silver Musk is the most distinctive musk I own. It starts bright and almost metallic, with a cool, luminous shimmer, then settles into a warm, skin-like musk with a quiet animalic edge. That edge keeps it from being just another clean musk. It’s elegant and a bit mysterious, like a very refined version of your own skin. It’s linear and understated, so it never feels busy or sweet. Longevity is good and it stays close to the body while still leaving a trail, so a couple of sprays are enough. I wear it in mild to cool weather. It’s not a crowd-pleaser, and it won’t suit anyone who wants a laundry-fresh musk or a complex, shifting fragrance. But if you like minimalist, skin-close scents with some character, it’s very rewarding. Best for: mild and cool days, relaxed evenings. Not for: hot weather, or anyone after a soapy, laundry-type musk.

Very nice powdery metallic clean scent. Perfect for everyday wear. Also great for the office. Rather low sillage and longevity for a Nasomatto.
