Sadonaso

Unfortunately, it smells strongly of urine to me immediately after spraying. Whether that improves slightly later, I don't know, as I couldn't bring myself to smell it again. Unfortunately, absolutely disgusting to me. Perhaps one shouldn't judge Nasomatto fragrances by their wearability, but rather by the original idea behind them. In any case, it is not a wearable perfume for me.

One of the most provocative, fascinating, and polarizing fragrances in modern niche perfumery. For me, as for many others, Sadonaso smelled deterringly animalic, most reminiscent of urine, but after testing it multiple times, I now 'only' get a combination of honey and milk with very little animalic quality. The honey makes the fragrance sweet, the milk makes it creamy, and it has spicy aspects, rather describable as roasted coffee. Subtle tobacco note, something resinous, something minimally smoky.

The urine note is the first thing I notice, the whole thing is then underpinned with a certain plastic character (condom?!), very synthetic overall. The artistic value imho saves the fragrance under certain circumstances, but imho you can only really like it after trying it several times, or if you have certain preferences. Interesting, but difficult. Oh yeah, I forgot the sweat <_< (well formulated though, and fitting the overall note!). After testing it several times, an extreme implied maturity is noticeable, which, well, transfers to the wearer. Mature to the extreme. Edit: It's an acquired taste and gets better over time (in my case): 8/10
