Granado

Granado is Brazil's oldest apothecary and perfumery, founded in Rio de Janeiro in 1870 by the Portuguese pharmacist José Antônio Coxito Granado. It was appointed Official Pharmacy of the Brazilian Imperial Family under Emperor Pedro II, and it has been producing fragrances and botanical formulas continuously for more than 150 years. In 2004 it incorporated Phebo, the Brazilian perfumery known since 1930 for its rose scent and glycerin soaps. Both brands still manufacture in Brazil.
