Angeline Leporini: Mediterranean Master of Natural Perfumery

From Egyptian Roses to Mediterranean Groves

Angeline Leporini's journey into perfumery began with a transformative moment at age 17. During a trip to Egypt, she visited a factory distilling essential oils from roses. This experience ignited her passion for fragrance creation and set her on a path that would define her career.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Leporini pursued her Master's degree at the prestigious Institut Supérieur International du Parfum, de la Cosmétique et de l'Aromatique Alimentaire (ISIPCA) in Versailles. Her education continued with a crucial traineeship in Grasse, where she discovered the vital role of natural raw materials in perfumery under the guidance of a senior perfumer.
Currently serving as a Senior Perfumer at Eurofragance, Leporini brings what colleagues describe as a "methodically creative" approach to her work. This unique blend of academic rigor and poetic sensibility results in fragrances that are both technically accomplished and emotionally resonant. Her 12-year tenure at Robertet provided the foundation for her expertise, where she honed her skills in both fine fragrance and personal care projects.
Leporini's philosophy centers on the preservation and celebration of natural ingredients. As a vegan perfumer, she continuously explores innovative ingredients while maintaining her commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. Her work spans prestigious brands including Amouage, Xerjoff, Miller Harris, and Roger & Gallet, showcasing her versatility across different fragrance categories.

Signature Scents and Mediterranean Soul

Leporini's creative signature shines brightest in her ability to capture Mediterranean landscapes through scent. Her masterpiece Fiore d'Ulivo for Casamorati perfectly embodies this talent, transporting wearers to olive groves with its delicate blend of lotus flowers, jasmine absolute, and warm amber base. The fragrance demonstrates her skill in balancing fresh citrus elements with deeper floral heart notes.
Her notable creations include Epic Woman for Amouage and L'Eau Magnetic for Miller Harris, the latter inspired by seashores and designed to evoke blue skies and crashing waves. For Liu Jo's Silkway, she drew inspiration from childhood memories of blooming wisteria and silk's smooth texture, creating a jasmine bouquet with creamy vanilla accords.
Travel remains a constant source of inspiration for Leporini, influencing her work across diverse cultural contexts. She particularly favors rosy floral notes and warming spices like cardamom and Sichuan pepper, with rose essential oil appearing as a recurring signature element throughout her portfolio.
Leporini's impact extends beyond individual fragrances. Her participation in industry events like Paris Perfume Week and collaborative projects such as the "Chiaroscuro" digital installation demonstrate her commitment to advancing perfumery as both art and craft. Her emphasis on natural ingredients and sustainable practices positions her as a forward-thinking voice in contemporary perfumery.
