The story
pernoire was founded in Basel in 2020 by childhood friends Nico Mannino and Robin Dünner. The founders bring together analytical precision, creative direction and a shared passion for scent. Their guiding idea is that fragrance should do more than smell pleasant: it should express a personality.
According to pernoire, development and production take place in Switzerland. Long-standing partner Andreas Wilhelm works with the founders on the house's olfactory vision. Masar also shows that the house collaborates with other perfumers, including Vincent Micotti.
01 · Two founders

A friendship becomes a fragrance house

Nico Mannino and Robin Dünner have known each other since childhood. pernoire presents their different strengths as part of its creative method: Mannino contributes an analytical background in economics and finance, while Dünner shapes imagery, marketing and creative direction as CMO. Their contrast became the starting point for composing fragrances as expressions of different facets.

02 · Olfactory personalities

Fragrance as expression

pernoire frames its mission as the creation of olfactory personalities. The Anima and Odus collections translate that idea into compositions with different levels of intensity. Mansa shows how a named personality can be connected to a distinct visual world and its own bottle symbol.

03 · Swiss craftsmanship

From brief to extrait

The brand emphasises Swiss development and production as well as high fragrance concentrations. According to pernoire, Andreas Wilhelm is a long-standing partner of the founders. Masar credits Vincent Micotti as its perfumer. The collaboration shows a house that does not reduce its identity to one name, but works with different olfactory voices.
