The story

Pana Dora was founded in Emmaboda in 2019 by Syrian-Swedish perfumer Ibrahim Al-Zoubi. More than three decades of experience in fragrance creation and a long search for rare materials form the house’s background.

The brand anchors its work in Sweden while joining clear Nordic imagery with a rich, oriental-influenced fragrance language. The deer head on its bottles refers to Swedish nature and makes that origin visible in the design.

01 · Origins

From Syria to Emmaboda

Ibrahim Al-Zoubi left Syria in 1988 and, according to Pana Dora, spent more than 30 years working as a perfumer for international companies. From the early 1990s onward, he travelled in search of rare aromatic materials. That experience led to the founding of Pana Dora in Emmaboda in 2019.

02 · Brand language

Swedish nature, global materials

Pana Dora describes its fragrances as a meeting of Swedish clarity and Eastern richness. The official perfume story draws on images of seventeenth-century Sweden, from forests and water to palaces and social life. Imperial Wood turns that idea into spices, cocoa, and agarwood, while Oud Republic joins Scandinavian calm with oud, saffron, and woods.

03 · Craft

Composition as a precise story

The brand describes an internal protocol: materials are chosen for quality and character, then each formula is developed as its own story. Emanuele applies that method to Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. The official Majestic Amber packshot shows how bottle, deer symbol, and fragrance name work as one visual language.
