The story

Fragrance Du Bois emerged in Paris in 2013 from an idea by Jonnie Swarbrick and a creative founding team. The house connects French perfumery tradition with oud, framing its scent world as an interplay of natural materials, composition and design.

Rather than presenting one house perfumer, Fragrance Du Bois works with several perfumers. In the Parfinity catalog, Sirène and Lucius Maximus make that range especially clear: Nanako Ogi and Jordi Fernández represent different compositional voices within the same house.

01 · Paris, 2013

A house born from a design idea

Jonnie Swarbrick describes the founding as an invitation from the other founders to build a global fragrance brand. His experience in packaging, media, print and brand identity shaped the visual approach from the start. The first samples of the Shades Du Bois range connected colour theory and scent for him. Design was therefore not added afterwards, but formed part of the house idea.

02 · Oud and contrast

One material, many voices

The official philosophy describes oud as a starting point for compositions built with unexpected notes. That attitude is visible in the catalog's range. Santal Complet works with sandalwood, coconut and black pepper, while Oud Jaune Intense connects oud with monoi, ylang-ylang and tropical fruit notes. The material remains recognisable while the olfactory language changes.
