The story
Aloha Senses grew in Kiel from Corinna Kuhnert’s early connection to Hawai’i and her work with natural essences. Together with Jörn Klaas, she runs a small manufactory where natural perfumes are carefully made by hand in small batches.
Corinna is the brand’s perfumer, creative architect, and designer, while Jörn contributes as co-founder and copywriter. Their fragrances connect the Hawaiian idea of love and respect with a clear, personal approach to natural perfumery.
01 · The people behind the brand

Corinna Kuhnert and Jörn Klaas

Corinna Kuhnert is the nose behind Aloha Senses. After working in architectural offices in Copenhagen and Berlin, she turned to natural perfumery and began master’s training with Mandy Aftel in 2020. Co-founder Jörn Klaas oversees controlling and copywriting. They work together in the manufactory and shape the brand as a team.

02 · From Hawai’i to Kiel

An early connection to Aloha

Corinna’s relationship with Hawai’i began at the age of nine, when she experienced the intense scents of tropical flowers there. Later, she made flower essences on the Big Island and led retreats there with Jörn. In 2010 she first created Sprays for Aura & Senses in Kiel; in 2021 they founded Aloha Senses as their own fragrance brand. The name refers to a philosophy of meeting others with love and respect.

03 · Craft and materials

Natural essences as a starting point

Aloha Senses describes its fragrances as entirely natural and plant-led. The palette includes essential oils, flower absolutes, resins, balsams, woods, and tinctures. The five creations carried by Parfinity show this approach in different directions, from Amber - Warm Embrace and Honi - Narcotic Kiss to Gigi - Forever Young.
