Aloha Senses emerged from a profound connection to Hawaiian culture that began in childhood. Perfumer and founder Corinna Kuhnert first encountered the intense scents of tropical flowers during a visit to Hawaii at age nine. Her grandfather had moved to the islands in the 1970s to pursue spiritual healing, creating a family bond with Hawaiian philosophy that would shape Corinna's future.

In 2021, Corinna and her husband Jörn Klaas established Aloha Senses in Kiel, Germany. The brand embodies the Hawaiian concept of "ALOHA" - love, respect, and understanding the unseen. Corinna's journey into natural perfumery began much earlier, creating "Sprays for Aura & Senses" in her manufactory since 2010. By 2012, she was traveling to Hawaii and Iceland to craft mother tinctures for her Aloha Essences flower essences.

The turning point came in 2020 when Corinna trained under renowned natural perfume expert Mandy Aftel. During the first lockdown, the decision crystallized to bring their natural perfumes to market professionally. A complete brand relaunch with self-designed branding followed in September 2022.
