Georgina Ripollès and the language of design

Georgina Ripollès presents Somens as an extension of a family history in publishing, advertising, and design. After studying advertising and public relations in Barcelona, she deepened her knowledge of cultures, oils, essences, and perfume in Paris. That combination helps explain why bottle, imagery, and scent appear as one connected story at Somens.

Fragrance as a story of movement

Somens frames its collections as encounters between places and periods. In the brand’s account, Arena connects Arabic culture with the Iberian Peninsula, Seda represents talent and migration from West Africa and India to Europe, and Jade reflects the relationship between Asian cultures and nature.
