The story
Anfas is a perfume house from Dubai, founded by Asim Al Qassim. The brand draws on Arabic language, hospitality, and the scents of an Arabian home. Its fragrances translate cultural words and emotions into compositions made to be worn.
The official brand site frames this approach through tradition, heritage, craftsmanship, and luxury. In Parfinity's assortment, the idea can be explored through Salam, Rahaba, and the Fosol Collection.
01 · Founder and origin

Hospitality as a starting point

Asim Al Qassim describes Anfas as a response to his wish to share the hospitality and welcoming character of the Emirates with the world. His memories of open tents, Arabic coffee, and journeys through the desert form the cultural background of the brand. Dubai is not merely an address here, but the stated origin of its fragrance language.

02 · Language and emotion

An Arabic word becomes a fragrance

According to the brand's own explanation, Anfas begins with an Arabic word, follows the emotion it holds, and then translates it into a fragrance formula. Names such as Salam and Rahaba therefore carry more than a label; they carry a narrative role. The Fosol Collection extends the principle to the cycles of the seasons and the memories attached to them.

Tradition in a contemporary form

The official site presents Anfas as a meeting point of tradition, heritage, craftsmanship, and luxury. Its collections organise fragrances not only by notes, but also by cultural and emotional themes. That makes Dhai, Haneen, and Shaouq different chapters within one idea: Arabian heritage should be accessible globally without losing its linguistic and emotional foundation.

What the community says about Anfas

10/10
Small side note: Even if oud is not listed in the official fragrance notes, the packaging explicitly refers to a leather-oud combination. The fragrance opens with a juicy raspberry, which immediately provides a fruity and inviting start. After a short time, the leather settles over it like a warm blanket and gives the composition a pleasant depth. The subtle spice of the saffron prevents the scent from appearing too sweet and brings in just the right amount of oriental character. On the skin, amber and musk stand out in particular during the dry down. The base feels warm, noble, and at the same time charming in a playful way. On clothing, the characteristic raspberry-leather aroma lasts even until the next day without losing any of its charisma. Due to this successful balance of fruitiness, leather, and oriental warmth, Mada is suitable for a wide variety of occasions, from elegant dinners to boisterous celebrations.
